McDonald Honored as a 2024 Women of Influence Recipient

Dorchester County Economic Development is proud to announce that Deputy Director Michelle McDonald has been honored as a recipient of the 2024 Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Women of Influence Award. This prestigious award recognizes women who have made a significant impact in their industries and communities through leadership, resilience, and innovation.

 

The Women of Influence Award celebrates women from a diverse array of industries and sectors in the Lowcountry, including business, entrepreneurship, public service, education, law, communications, health care, hospitality, and finance. These exceptional women were nominated for their influential work in their respective fields, and for the pathways they are forging for future generations of leaders.
